Here’s a look at what’s new in Beverly Drive 2.0:
2.0 Log edits –
— Removed upstroke on more capital letters in default style set: A, A.002, M, C, E
— New more casual lowercase b for default style set. Moved looped b to ss.01
— New more casual lowercase h for default style set. Moved looped h to ss.01
— New more casual lowercase y for default style set. Moved looped y to ss.01
— New more casual lowercase G for default style set. Moved previous G to G.002
— New more casual flat topped E alternate option (E.002)
— New more casual Y in standard style set.
– New ss.01 d with looped ascender.
— Adjusted r and r.001 for a higher x height and larger counter
— Updated capital E to match capital C terminal
— Shorter in stroke on s.001, l.001, and r.001
— updated slant of the f in descender loop
— updated slant of the j in descender loop
— Simpler P in default style. Looped P in ss.01
— Simpler B in default style. Lopped B in ss.01
— Simpler R in default style. Lopped B in ss.01
— Fixed ss.01 contextual alternates (capital letters _ r; capital letters _ s)
— Adjusted ascender stem height on h, b, k, d
— Shortened p and q descenders
— adjusted r and s so that if someone doesn’t turn on contextual alternates those letters will look better starting a word after a space.
— Lowered the baseline of the A, C, C.001, E, G, M, N, O, Q, S, U
