Industrial Light & Magic 50 Year Anniversary Logo

Industrial Light and Magic turns 50 years old this May, making them the longest running visual effects studio ever. The VFX house founded by George Lucas in 1975 has led the entertainment industry in innovation. After helping ILM rebrand in 2023, we were excited to get the band back together and help them roll out the ILM 50 Year Anniversary Logo with limited edition merch. The logo was revealed at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 (yes it shared the same stage as Ryan Gosling), coinciding with the Season 2 premiere of Light & Magic on Disney+. The ILM 50th Anniversary merch is slowly rolling out over on Amazon. Stay tuned for more!

Light & Magic Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+. It is an absolute must watch!
Industrial Light & Magic: 50 Years of Innovation by Ian Failes is available for preorder now! Set to release November, 2025 by Lucasfilm Publishing and Abrams.
