Elemental by Disney Pixar Movie Title Treatments

It’s always a blast to get to work on Disney Pixar movie title treatment concepts, especially for an original feature film like Elemental. Elemental is the story of Wade and Ember, two people from different sides of Elemental City—a place where air-, fire-, water-, and land-residents call home. We played with the concepts of fire and water mainly as the movie is about “Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.” (from the Disney website.) The film takes place in bustling metropolis Elemental City where Ember’s family has a shop so we played with a lot of neon sign style logos.⁠
