Rival Tribe: Everyone Wants to be Young - Part 1

photo of a girl standing in a dance studio staring out the window

Rian Borland is the brain behind Rival Tribe, an artist collective group of sorts that brings dancers, musicians, stylists, filmmakers, and artists together under one banner. Their first project is a video series called “Everyone Wants to be Young,” a choreographed dance piece studying the struggle to find your identity. Each video (this is part one of three) will be set to the music of Tiger Bitch. There’s fuzzed out guitars, there’s hot shorts, there’s flexible legs flying all over the place, there’s unicorn colored smoke haze… it’s amazing. Check out the first part below and stay tuned for more. Choreographed and Performed by: Rian Borland Director of Photography: Alex Rothauser Edited by: Julian Abalos Styled by: Angela Joy Dietz Produced by: Kelsi Borland in partnership with Rival Tribe “Teach Kathy to Hunt” Written by: Grant C’de Baca Performed by: Tigerbitch From the album Trash Advocate
